Questions

What do I need to start?

A workbook with three sheets: Project, WBS and BOQ. Download the input template, replace the sample with your own dates, areas and quantities, then upload it.

Does it replace P6?

No. XER Engine prepares the programme. You import the XER file into P6 and carry on as usual.

Which version of P6 does it work with?

The XER file is the older format that every version of P6 can import, and it has been tested with P6 Professional 21. The same programme is also available as an XML file for recent versions. Please tell us what you see with your version.

What happens when my dates cannot be met?

The result says so. It shows the earliest date it could reach and what is holding the programme back, so you can decide what to change.

What happens to my files?

The workbook you upload is processed and not stored. Only the results you choose to save are kept, in your own account.

Does it cost anything?

No. It is free during the beta.
